First time outside

First time feeling the sun's warmth, the spring breeze and the cool grass under foot for Tulip's kids Angle and Matt. At this young age of 7 days they are not venturing to far from mom.

I don't want you to think this picture is taken today. This picture was taken June 2008. Soon it will look like summer here but for right now it is cold, and a nice layer of ice is covering the snow.

Grettle and Diana

Diana again! I think she was in a lot of vacation pictures this year.

Every year we have a theme to name our kids (baby goats). The year Diana was born all the kids were named after Anne Green Gables characters. The year Hanna was born it was characters in stories. The only thing is I can’t remember who Hanna was named after. That year we had Jack and Jill, Hansel and Grettle, and Cindy and Lois. One year we named the goats after flowers. We still have Rose and Tulip that was my favourite year.

I asked for pictures from all of you that visit our farm and here are some from Maureen.

That is Diana (named after Anne’s blossom buddy) reaching for the grain bucket. The picture certainly shows Diana’s personality. Her daughter Hanna is standing by her side watching.
