Calendula Flowers

I harvested my last Calendula petals for this year. They are so beautiful, easy to grow and bloom from June until now. Mine self-seed every year. This year Katie tried to weed them all out not knowing they were calendula seedlings and I still had a good crop. I use the petals in my tea tree and calendula soap and I use oil infused with calendula petals in my Healing liquid soap.
Cosmetic properties of calendula are that there are calming, anti-inflammatory, slightly astringent and antiseptic
